Monitoring centers update infrastructure over time, whether that involves changing internet providers, migrating systems, or adjusting network environments. When those changes occur, the IP addresses used for alarm signal routing can change as well.
Because alarm panels are programmed directly to those destinations, any change to the routing address may require updates in the field.
